[ To Artiarlism: the Unknown invitation]는 개인 컴퓨터와 웹을 기반으로 경험할 수 있는 게임형 작업이다. 물질 문명 세계가 붕괴한 먼 미래, 모든 존재가 몸을 잃고 디지털 데이터 세계에서 살아간다는 가상의 세계관을 중심으로 하며, 그곳에서의 기나긴 여정 동안 몸에 대한 기억마저 잃어버린 먼 미래 인류인 ‘옵져버’가 물질과 몸의 데이터를 간직한 ‘기억의 섬’을 발견하고, 몸을 되찾기 위해 그 곳을 탐험하는 이야기이다.

‘옵져버’가 현재의 물질기반 인공문명을 살아가는 인류에게 보낸 초대장을 통해, 게임 속 배경인 ‘기억의 섬’에 접속할 수 있다. 몸이 사라진 그 세계에서 더이상 쓸모가 없어진 인공 사물 데이터의 찌꺼기들로 만들어진 ‘기억의 섬’, 그 곳에서 마주치는 다양한 모습의 ‘빅-베이비’들은 각각 인류에 대한 단편적 기억 데이터를 갖고 있으며, 이를 하나 둘 씩 수집-열람하며 이 수상한 곳에 대해 조금씩 알 수 있다. ‘아티얼리즘’, ‘옵져버’, ‘빅-베이비’ 등의 새로운 용어들과 함께 거시적 시간을 품은 세계관이 작업을 관통한다.

[To Artiarlism: the Unknown invitation] is a multi-play game-type work players can experience with their own computer. It is based on the virtual worldview that all beings lose their bodies and live in a world of digital data in the distant future when the material civilization world collapsed. The main story is that 'Observer' - distant future human - who has developed to have lost their body now without even memories of corporeal existence, during their long journey.  These beings are encountering the 'Island of memories' which contains data about bodies and materials.
Through the invitation sent by the 'Observer' to those of us who live in the current artificial material-based world, players can access the Island, to engage with this game. This Island is made of the remains of artificial objects, data that is no longer useful in a non-corporeal world. Players can encounter various shapes of 'Big-babies' each having fragmentary memories about mankind; players might learn about this mysterious place by collecting and browsing what they have, one by one. Along with new terms such as 'Artialism', 'Observer', and 'Big-baby', a worldview embracing macroscopic time penetrates the work.
